All the festival venues are fairly close, about 1.4 miles from the Memorial Union to the Monona Terrace Convention Center (25 minutes walking).

If you're arriving by plane and booking a downtown hotel, you might consider using the hotel's shuttle service from the airport. No rental car is needed to get between Festival theaters, unless you want to explore the spring countryside around Madison, too.

ADDITIONAL LODGING

There are several hotels and B&Bs in central Madison, representing a range of prices and features. Visitmadison.com is a good place to get links for downtown accomodations.

AIRPORT

The Dane County Airport (MSN) is close to the city and convenient to all parts of the city. Many hotels offer shuttle service; the airport has very good guide to ground transportation here.
